teaching from wisdom but not Authority

As mentioned, one of my guiding principles is leaning into intuition first and above all. (With a kind-of-silly-but-true personal example.)

More relevant to you, though, is how this shows up in my teaching.

I want to teach from a place of wisdom; I want to share freely and deeply.

But I don't aspire to be an Authority Figure, in the sense of only bestowing knowledge.

I teach spaciously. I create space for wisdom—mine and yours.

We all have it. If you don't feel connected to your wisdom, that often leads to thinking that you lack it.
You don't. You're just disconnected.

I know this from personal experience.
Divination practices taught me many things.
But even more so, they *revealed* what I *already* knew.

On a soul level. Or in my energetic field.
Things I knew, but couldn't articulate until I had the cues that prompted the wisdom to emerge.

All that to say – intuition first and above all.

What that looks like, in examples from this week's workshop:

I create spaces where I share my unusual, kaleidoscopic, plane sight way of seeing the world.

You learn new ideas, consider new perspectives.

You don't have to like or agree with them. Consensus is not my purpose. Expansion is my purpose

It can be a bit odd at first, when you encounter how I twist the kaleidoscope.  But when you stay with me, things you know start to fit together differently.

Your wisdom emerges.

Things that I can't anticipate become clear to you.
Life experiences I've never known share new perspectives to you.
New articulation emerges, of things you've known for a long time.

More specifically:
~ Someone reframed her understanding of decades of her life experience. She connected different behaviors across many years, which revealed her growth, her reactions to social conventions.
~ Another person identified some longtime misogyny in her life. It had always made her uncomfortable, but she'd never articulated its full context.

And more.

Now they know. Now they grow.

Of course, none of these things were in my outline. None of them could be.

Intuition first and above all.

Often, that's not the way that we're taught. In fact, if you're on social media and your feed is anything like mine, you're BOMBARDED with (often newly minted) experts who will share their step-by-step template for success. Lose weight, gain followers, manifest everything while you sleep.

This business model is PREDATORY. Not to mention an uncomfortable squeeze. I mean, I need to lose weight to squeeze myself into those tiny boxes.

That's not how I teach. We have the entire universe to connect into. There's more than enough room for all your uniqueness, eccentricities, and textures. Things flourish, come into focus.

You tap into wisdom that, actually, I can't teach you. I can only twist the kaleidoscope, open the portal. What you see and where you go are up to you.

If you do want to ditch toxic learning models and join other rebels, nonconformists, and weirdos - I hope you join Dive Into Your Deck and Light Your Lantern – 2 immersive weekends about tarot and oracle practice + practi-spiri-cality.

In other words, grounding intuitive work into your actual, lived experience, while also transducing matter into spirit. Intuitive work is most powerful when there's no separation.

One of my favorite testimonials from last summer's tarot and oracle class is about exactly this:

I used to consult my deck for a wide variety of reasons, with an eye toward how it helped me connect to my own inner thoughts.
My methods worked well enough for years, but eventually it seemed to me that I had lost my ability to read the most important component of the tarot: myself.
This class rekindled my enthusiasm and, more importantly, gave me a solid foundation on which to place my intuitive connection.

Investment for the classes is $111 each. Your discount makes it $99 each: [redacted].

If you're on the fence and not sure how the vibe really is, there are 2 more workshops, Triple Definitions and Unfiltered AMA.

Or, as some of you have already done, come to all of them! We're weaving a lot of magic and wisdom in these spaces.

Yours truly,
S.
