a few more thoughts on consent & permission + a few updates
This past Monday I hosted a conversation about consent and permission, ending with a sound journey. It was humbling and inspiring, and everyone left with deeper, more profound conceptions about consent and permission.
Including me—because intuitive spaces, in my practice, flow multi-directionally and multi-dimensionally.
I'm excited that more people are thinking more deeply about consent and permission, how our beliefs about them connect directly to freedom and liberation.

If you haven't pondered these connections—they have been life-changing for me.
Other updates:
~ The previously-declared deadline for joining the The Spiral is Thursday, September 1st. Given that this is a holiday weekend in the US and I'm booked with lots of readings, I'm not going to do tons of work on The Spiral until early next week.

~ I think it's likely that this channel will be quiet for the remainder of the year. (I know, it's wild to be saying that at the end of August.) I'm not interested in forcing a bunch of projections on myself, AND I know I want to be in deep devotion to The Spiral. I'm so excited about the group of people who've already joined, and my priority is to be in deep connection in that space.
My intention is to send occasional dispatches about that space, plus the usual flourishes of whatever else taps in or inspires me.
That quiet starts imminently — no need to anticipate a flurry of last-minute-don't-hesitate-join-this-amazing-opportunity-NOW-or-you'll-have-FOMO-4va. I look forward to reporting—eventually—on how this grand experiment goes....

I was feeling restless while working on this love letter, so I took a break for a short reading. I rarely use spreads, and when I pulled at the fan of cards, these two came out together. So it was a 2-card reading.
If you've taken Dive Into Your Deck or Light Your Lantern, you know I emphasize the importance of looking at the details in the cards, as well as details across cards in relationship to each other.
In this case, I really like that the two (non-human) faces are not facing each other. I have a weekend full of readings coming up, as well as preparing the The Spiral, so that outwardness feels very appropriate to how my attention feels right now, typing this missive.
