a preview over 4 years in the making...
If you've been reading these love letters for a while—like in The Before Times—you might recall that I started working on an oracle deck nearly five years ago. I managed to continue my work through some of the worst of my Long Covid time, but there have been many other interruptions and delays.
And while the deck is far from done, I am DELIGHTED to share a lil' preview of some of my favorite cards:
I do have one more fun thing to share from this email address very soon. After that, this channel will go quiet again for a while.
To be clear: this is not my art. I conceptualized the deck, and I've had plenty of input on the images. For now, though, the artist prefers a low profile. And he is a person, not AI :)
This deck, like everything I do and make, is deeply inspired by the human and more-than-human world. As we live through live-streamed terror and genocide, amidst rising hate and separation, it's all the more essential to tune into cosmic wisdom and guidance. I hope this deck supports people finding stronger connections across our artificial separations.
I hope these pique your curiosity. My intention is that later this year, this project will be ready for test users. I'll loop back around when that's ready. By that point, I hope we're long past a ceasefire, a return of all hostages, and deep in the healing process. I wish we already were.
