an August update – tl;dr from nausea to excitement
Time has really dilated and contracted for me in the past few weeks.
Meanwhile, I'm also finalizing my final round of events for the year. It seems far away, and yet those deadlines loom when you're event planning. As usual, the listing is at the end of this love letter.
Anyways, the reason time has been warping is because I'm aiming for Numinous Spiral, my oracle deck, to launch on September 9th. Help me hold the vision for that date by marking your calendars!
Several months ago, I started outlining and drafting the Kickstarter campaign. At the start of August, I actually put all those notes into Kickstarter.
It's complicated and tedious, let me tell you.
For the first week, I was terrified. When not working on the campaign, I felt nauseous whenever I thought about it. I was having really gross dreams; I woke up nearly gagging a few times.
I thought about quitting. Which is exactly why my Guides gave me the instructions to do this campaign this year: they know that I heed their instructions.
And you know what? They're right.
I stayed the course, and by the second week, I started getting really excited. The Kickstarter campaign is the first time all the pieces have been together: examples of the cards and their descriptions, information from behind the scenes, some of the back story, and more.
This deck has been in process for 7 years. I'm so, so excited for you to see it.
