reminder: FREE workshop on Wednesday + playlists you can listen to

Here's the reminder for the workshop on Wednesday AND ANOTHER on Monday! Open to all.
If you want to join, just reply and let me know.

~ Empathic Sense & Nonsense – Wednesday, January 4th (just days away!) @ 7:00-8:30pm US Eastern
Empathy is one of our most powerful capacities. Meanwhile, "empath" has become such a buzzword such as to lose all significance
This workshop is a space to drop the nonsense and tap into the real sense, the magic of empathy.

~ Love Medicine: Recognizing Toxic Patterns – Monday, January 9th @ 7:00-8:30pm
This workshop is a space to share a couple things I find myself saying in all my 1:1 sessions to people who ask about relationships.
These things are not specific to gender or relationship type: all genders welcome, all relationships welcome.
And everything is connected, so this all relates, ultimately, to any kind of relationship, not just romantic or intimate.

These workshops will both end with sound journeys, as they're a way to get a feel for what it's like in The Spiral, an online membership I'm leading again, this time for 2 months.  The Spiral is a space of weaving, learning, questioning, ritual-ing, becoming. All the info is here.

I used "playlists" a bit freely, for the sake of expediency. What I really meant are albums, which are a sort of playlist. Anyways, I stumbled across The Guardian's listing of the 10 best folk albums of 2022, and I've enjoyed every album on it.

Lest you think this list is the same genre singer-songwriters in coffeeshops—I assure you it's not. I've counted 4-5 languages so far, with lots of indigenous musicians and instruments, with a few concept albums on the list. If you like (heavily) acoustic or roots music, I hope you find some new folks you like.

In the meantime, see you Wednesday? Let me know.

That's all FOLKS,
S.

Siderealchemy
she / they

A few favorites from The Spacious Tarot, which someone with excellent taste in decks convinced me to try. (Thank you! (She's on the love letter list.))
If you like human ideas presented in mostly non-human images, this is a great deck for it. The High Priestess is one of my favorites in the Major Arcana, and this depiction is one of my favorites in any deck.

This deck's art has also made me like archetypes I generally don't. For example, if you're familiar with the broad ideas associated with the Hierophant, you can easily guess that it's rarely a card I like. In this deck, though, it's one of my favorites.

This space is also a reminder that Siderealchemy has music channels on the site, Soundcloud, and Youtube. Enjoy!
Also, remember Dive Into Your Deck and Light Your Lantern? They're 2 intuition-altering classes about tarot and oracle practice. And available anytime for self-study. Learn more on the site.
