seriously, the last love letter of the year ~ upcoming events
So, I wasn't trying to coy with the previous love love letter; I really thought I was done for the year.
But then I looked at the calendar, and realized I wanted to let you know about some upcoming things that are, like, REALLY upcoming. Meaning next week, in a few days...next year.
People in The Spiral already know that I see winter as the sacred deep time—for deep dreaming, deep resting, deep imagining, deep rooting. Especially in this liminal time from the solstice to the end of the year.
If you've been around me for a while, you know that my preference is for lunar timing. When I finally checked the calendar, I saw that January's new moon is on the 21st.
That new moon is the start of The Spiral, which is happening from that point until spring equinox. We have 2 months of weaving, learning, questioning, ritual-ing, becoming. If you've had enough of people telling you The Right And Best Way(tm) to hold the sacred, this is the non-prescriptive, intentional space for you. All the info is here.
As I did last year, I have some free workshops, so you can get an idea of how I hold space and teach. The workshops are:
~ Empathic Sense & Nonsense – Wednesday, January 4th (just days away!) @ 7:00-8:30pm US Eastern
Empathy is one of our most powerful capacities. Meanwhile, "empath" has become such a buzzword such as to lose all significance.
This workshop is a space to drop the nonsense and tap into the real sense, the magic of empathy.
~ Love Medicine: Recognizing Toxic Patterns – Monday, January 9th @ 7:00-8:30pm
Helping people navigate relationships, especially intimate relationships, is a huge part of my work. I'm not a therapist, a psychologist, or a dating coach, but I do strip away illusions and question subconscious assumptions. This workshop is a space to share a couple things I find myself saying in all my 1:1 sessions to people who ask about relationships.
These things are not specific to gender or relationship type: all genders welcome, all relationships welcome.
And everything is connected, so this all relates, ultimately, to any kind of relationship, not just romantic or intimate.
Both of these workshops are gonna zing in some tender spots. That means you'll be affirmed and supported in embracing yourself as you ARE, in your divine perfection, as you already are. And, in the process, you always have to kill a few darlings—and once they're seen, you realize they weren't actually all that darling. Y'know?
Which is exactly why they'll both end with sound journeys, so you can sink into your own sweetness and really receive, sonically and energetically.

Pull from Dirt Gems, an oracle deck I got for the sake of learning about plants. I expected it to be more of a reference; I wasn't that enthusiastic of it as an oracle.
