new moon examples ~ for pondering & inspiring

Blessed new moon –

This love letter is about planting some seeds, so that you better understand my work. And you'll get some things to ponder, regardless of whether you have worked with me already.

Thus far, Siderealchemy doesn't really have a niche, in the way entrepreneurial experts say you need one. Perhaps that will change at some point, but in the meantime it doesn't bother me.

In fact, it feels like an accurate reflection of my very diverse, wilder than fiction life in relationship to the wide range of people who want to work with me.

I mean, my work history includes commodities trading AND co-directing a yoga studio. (No, really.)

Another reason I don't have a lot of specs on "what I do" is because people come to me with more ideas than I think to offer.

So, for new moon inspiration I wanted to share some of those topics. Maybe you're curious –
I mean, I find my work totally inspiring and magical, but obviously I'm biased :)

Or you've been wanting to work with me but aren't sure how to be more specific. These might give you some direction.

Here are 3 things that have come up in the last few months. Outwardly, they are VERY different topics. And yet for me as an intuitive, the underlying threads are much more similar than different.

1. Sacred anger & how neutrality coexists with emotions ~ This is one of the most common topics I dig into. Personally, it relates my time working with humanitarian/aid workers, as well as my 18 years of yoga practice.

If you think of emotions and neutrality as mutually exclusive—yes, in a certain way they are. But rich, multidimensional awareness & power that arise when you see how neutrality fits in. In turn, that enlivens & shifts patterns around emotions we find intimidating or scary. I see this most often with anger, but it can apply to any emotions.

How often have you not given yourself the space to be FULLY in your joy? In your success or confidence? How quickly do you run from anger, from yourself or others?

I used to do all those things. Now, I have a prayer of gratitude when someone is angry with me. Not because I'm a glutton for punishment, but because I recognize the sacredness & purpose of all emotions.

2. Expansive definitions of investing ~ These have been some really juicy, unexpected conversations.
No, I'm not a financial advisor & I would never pretend to have knowledge I don't actually possess. (That holds true for any topic—if you schedule a session that's beyond my scope, I'll tell you, refund your money, cancel the session, & give a referral if you want one.)

But I've had some magical dives into expansive perspectives outside of capitalism, as they relate to personal & professional circumstances.

Sometimes I end up sharing some personal experiences, including the years I spent in countries less steeped in capitalism. But ultimately, these conversations are about the magic that happens whe you see the frame your (mental) picture is in.

3. Personal rituals ~ Creating rituals is some of my favorite personal work; I've been making my own rituals since I was a child.

But I never thought to suggest them until other people asked. I'm grateful for other people's imagination, as this is some of my favorite work!

One example (shared with enthusiastic consent):
Someone who wants to have a crone ritual, for dear friends at milestone birthdays. I won't be present for the actual ritual, but it's amazing to co-create a space that honors aging & changing cultural narratives about aging, especially for women.

How righteous is THAT? It's been a total joy to contribute to this process & I'm honored to co-create.

*********

Sooooo, 3 very different topics, right? But actually with a lot in common. Consistencies like being who you truly are, making choices that are in alignment with yourself, expressing your values authentically.

Another common thread is that these are mostly topics that other people brought to me. Something I really love about my work is that it's not limited to my own intuition or imagination. Resonant folks come with their own ideas, struggles, curiosity. That combination makes a lot of the alchemy in Siderealchemy.

And it informs the mission statement as well:

Siderealchemy is a space for rebels, non-conformists, & weirdos
to lean into the magic of who they [already] are,
for the sake of sharing & amplifying their unique medicine to the world.

(Just in case you didn't know how I see you.)

I hope that gives you some interesting and inspiring things to ponder. I'd love to know what resonates—hit reply & let me know.

Or if you got super clear on something you want to dive into, schedule a session.

We're just over halfway through another surreal year. There's so much space for alchemy and growth and joy. May your intentions nurture who you truly are.

In resonance,
S.

PS - Share this with someone whose intentions you want to bless.
