This love letter has some thoughts on platforms, social media, & digital spaces.

The alarming implications of the TikTok ban have affirmed my longtime commitment to making my own digital space for Siderealchemy. Hopefully the site serves as an excellent way to get acquainted with this intuitive work. This space includes years of my writing, from voting to tarot to candlesticks to langauge witchery.
I get that it might sound like a small thing.
I don't have the bandwidth to keep up with the fluctuations of platforms, so I haven't. Meanwhile, siderealchemy.co has love letters going back to late 2016.
I think that archive is a pretty sweet resource, honestly.
If nothing else, I hope it's a fun choose-your-own-adventure of reading. Thoughts on intuition, the BS of new age culture, and more.
Because I believe that perspective is one of the most valuable things we can offer each other.
If you've had intuitive sessions with me, you know that my work is not to tell you what to do or decide. You are perfectly capable of that. My task is to share perspective, to show what you haven't noticed, to reveal what's just beyond the reaches of your perception. What you do is your choice.
In the process of going through those old love letters, I also realized that one was a important seed for Still Moving, my memoir about Long Covid. I didn't know when I wrote it that returning to my own archive would be an important step in my writing process.
My hope is that siderealchemy.co is the digital equivalent of spending time with me in person—we talk about a variety of topics; we pull some cards; we discover new perspectives. Along the way, you have a sense of who I am and what I value.
Meanwhile, on the eve of a gross inauguration of a gross re-elected president, with timing that only insults Rev. Dr. King, I feel some urgency towards hosting events again. Because I want to empower people to step more fully into creative expression, inclusive compassion, audacious imagination, and ecstatic wonder.
