when you're in the company of FOOLS...

Surprise! Bet you didn't expect to see another love letter from me so soon.

(Don't worry - this is not a cheesy practical joke.)

I just want to offer an alternative on fools, specifically today.

Fools often have a bad time in our culture.

But if you're a literature geek like I am, you know that fools are essential.

True story: I took a Shakespeare seminar in college (for that lit degree I got), and I wrote my term paper on the importance of the relationship between the fools and the women characters.
(If you want to read it, I just need to get a floppy drive reader. Or if you have one I can borrow, lemme know, k?)

And if you're into archetypal work, you know the fool is synonymous with the trickster, the sacred fool. That every culture, every mythology has *at least* one, if not many.

In tarot, the Fool is one of the most celebrated archetypes of the Major Arcana.

So, this love letter is a toast to the Fool, in whichever variation(s) you resonate with.

And yesterday I sent you a letter about starting where you are. The willingness to take a "foolish" leap, if you will.

How I see it -

Take a fool-ish leap. The trickster has the magic.
